‘The threat of hunger’: Die ZEIT interview with Council member Joachim von Braun
In a recent interview with the weekly newspaper Die ZEIT, the agricultural scientist Joachim von Braun talked about the increase in global hunger and the rising demands on agriculture in the age of climate change.
Prof. Dr von Braun, who since 2002 has been head of the International Food Policy Research Institute (Ifpri) based in Washington, this year became Director of the Centre for Development Research (ZEF) in Bonn.
